This M1 Program Library has almost 2000 unique patches. We know because Midi Quest can search for, and remove duplicates from a library.

You can also see that most patches in the library have one or more keys. Midi Quest has powerful search capabilities that allow you to find patches based on these keys so if you need to find that certain bass, its easy to do a search and get a listing of just your basses. If you're worried about spending your life adding tags to patch names, don't. Midi Quest has a smart analyzer that automatically adds keys based on the name. You're always free to add your own or modify the default assignments but Midi Quest gives you a big head start.
